Dale Clark

Executive Director, Barrhead Association for Community Living

Dale is deeply grateful to our partner Pembina Hills School Division, our entire staff, analogous community agencies,  supporters, volunteers  and to a committed Board of Directors, all of whom have played pivotal roles in bringing to life a vision of accessible  mental health and addiction supports to rural Albertans.   Dale brings over 25 years of experience with BACL; first as a support staff looking after the financial tasks and records involved in bookkeeping, and later as a Community Living Facilitator and Advocate, and finally in her role as Executive Director for BACL.   She holds a Bachelor of Human Services and Administration Degree and a four year Fellowship of Rosebud School of the Arts, as well as a Master’s Diploma in Music from the University of Calgary.  She says she uses all of her experience and training in the day to day work administering Together Talk.  She adds “no matter how many committed people are part of this movement, without the incredible support of our MLA Glen Van Dijken, Together Talk  would be nothing more than an empty idea.”  She added, “The Government of Alberta’s keen response to local community needs has enabled us to design a delivery that meets those needs.  Now we need to garner community financial support to keep moving ahead.”  She is ready for the next push forward into Rural Alberta.
